Recode is taking its tech show, TechCrunch Disrupt, to a whole new level.
The tech news outlet will host its own tech conference in San Francisco in January.
This year, the conference will be led by former Vice president of product, product manager, and chief technology officer of the company Dan Gilbert.
Gilbert, the man behind such tech giants as Google, Apple, and Facebook, has long been rumored to be a potential CEO candidate for Recode, and his appearance at the conference is sure to reignite the speculation.
According to Recode’s event schedule, it will include a “tech conference experience” where guests will “explore the industry and hear from industry leaders” and “interview industry experts.”
This year’s keynote speaker is “Rakuten CEO Kenichiro Takahashi,” and the event will be livestreamed on Recode.com.
According the schedule, the event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
PST on January 23, and will run for two hours.
The event will include “TechCrunch Disrupted” panel discussions, a panel on “Reinventing The Internet of Things” and a “Tech Summit” that will feature “leaders and experts in the tech industry.”
The event will run through the first quarter of 2018.
The TechCrunch event is set to take place in the same building as the Recode keynote, which will be held on January 25, 2018.
